How do you know how to find the extra material on this website? It's right there in the book. It's not our intention to make it easy to get there from here. We're only giving some of our work away, not all of it.
The online section is no better or worse than the printed section. It was difficult to decide which pieces would go here rather than in the book. Often, there were items that were written well but at great length; other pieces were of enormous interest but probably to only a small group of our readers – both were candidates for the online part of the book rather than the printed part. Sometimes, there was near-duplication that we couldn’t resolve, and we decided somewhat arbitrarily which piece should go in the printed/eBook part.
The book/eBook is complete in itself; the online section enriches it most effectively if you follow the links as you come to them. Do not miss out on reading these pieces!
